ABOUT BATES BUILDERS

Originally licensed under Ron Bates Builder, the company owned and operated by Ron Bates, has been building custom homes with honesty and integrity for the past 21 years. The name change came when Ron decided that he needed to incorporate his business to include his son. Bates Builders is a family owned and operated business. The corporation consists of Ron, his wife Patti, and their son Travis.

Ron is a native of Prescott, Arizona and most of his 40+ years of experience have come from right here.   He has done everything from laying out a small garage to helping put the finishing touches on one of our local middle schools, Granite Mountain Middle School.  Ron’s knowledge was gained the old fashioned way, by actually doing the work that he now supervises.

Travis was also raised right here in Prescott and was put to work helping his dad Ron at an early age.  Travis is a graduate of Lamson Business College with education in computer aided drafting.  He spent three years with a civil engineering company, then the next 6 years working with Ron.  Travis spent the following 8 years in Ash Fork, Arizona helping his in-laws to manage their flagstone company, Dunbar Stone Company.  If you look at the photos in our Gallery you will find a lot of natural stone used on our projects.

The Bates philosophy in business is this, that we can satisfy our customers so that when our business is complete we will have a new friend.  We certainly hope that we can have the opportunity to do business with you.
